“My doctoral research laid the foundations for my passion for helping people unlock their potential within organisations. During the 1990’s, as I developed board level relationship skills programme for senior consulting partners, I came back to the question of how to help highly specialised professionals excel, and broaden their leadership capacity. This led me to reconsider adult learning and to build a greater element of self development and experimentation into my leadership programmes, drawing on principles of Gestalt Therapy and the Emotional Intelligence model of Daniel Goleman.”

Hilary has over twenty five years experience of working with senior leaders as an executive and team coach, as a facilitator and trusted advisor in organisational change and as an innovator in leadership development across the globe. She has designed and delivered leadership and career counselling programmes in the pharmaceutical industry before moving to consultancy as a leadership and change management professional.

More recently, as an organisation and leadership consultant with IBM, she coached the VP and Board of the European Consulting Business, helping them to develop their leadership to facilitate cultural transformation post- takeover. Hilary personally led a programme for 600 consulting partners on the leadership skills necessary to promote integration across geographical, organisational and cultural differences.
