Resilience In Uncertainty

As summer turns to autumn in the UK, we face a return to school and workplaces and signs of normality returning. We are very aware how mixed this picture is around the world. Beth Macdonald, one of our Directors, based in the Philippines is still in lockdown and many of you are experiencing the uncertainty coronavirus has added to our volatile world . Beth shares here how she has developed her resilience and what she has learned in lockdown, a theme of Resilience we began in March which still seems very apt.

So for those of you in easy reach of the UK, we issue a warm special invitation for last few places on our first face to face event this year, Resilience from Rewilding which is aimed at helping you as leaders recharge and reframe, developing your resilience through immersion in nature – a chance to step away from Zoom !  This is an opportunity to stop, listen and connect with like- minded people and spend time outdoors, reflecting on your year so far and how you can develop your resilience for times to come. We are partnering with Orchard House Partners on this event – click below to see a short video of David Jarrett and Fiona Ellis discussing the programme.

The event is set up to be Covid secure, for a small group, with your own private accommodation ranging from high quality ensuite  rooms in Orchard House to shepherds hut or outdoor camping depending on your desire to experience nature, and work in pairs and small groups outdoors. We will use natural ecosystems as a metaphor, in 160 acres of Welsh farm, orchard and woodland and you can create a highly personal learning journey over the two days, supported by David and Fiona as coaches. There will be opportunities to explore equine facilitated coaching as another aspect of rewilding yourself- horses are a great mirror for the self.

For a conversation to explore further, please contact Fiona@futureconsiderations.com. We recognise the challenges of this time so open to discussion where cost is an issue.
